| First of all, HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND BETTER NEW YEAR FOR EVERYBODY!!!! There are many ways of enjoying Christams Holydays... but are quite similar in Spain. The most of us try to stay with the family, at home. Of course, we go out with our friends (specially the last night of the year). We usually take roasted lamb for Christmas Eve, seafood for New Year's Eve and the traditional ring-shaped pastry for the evening of January the 5th (the night in which the Three Magic Kings are coming with presents). It is a time to eat and drink a lot... but of course it is mainly to spend with yours (family and friends). How is it in Germany, Turkey, Slovakia or Italy? | |

| Hi everyone!!! Another Chrsitmas' day passed. As usual, I ate too much and I will regret it soon. Eva told you most about Christmas' celebrations in Spain, but I think she didn't tell you the most popular tradition here for New Year's Eve: the twelve grapes eating on December the 31st at 12 p.m. You are supposed to eat the grapes as the clock strikes 12 o'clock, one for each month . If you are able to eat all of them, you will have a good year. If you have a problem, for instance with the fourth grape, that means April won't be a good month for you. It's really funny, you should try. There's always one person in every family that nearly dies trying... Merry Christmas to wveryone and tell us abou the traditions in your country. | |
